8.2 Hydraulics connection
•
The machine can be aggregated (coupled) with the tractors provided with at least one
hydraulic circuit with stable pressure at the outlet (the circuit control lever is arrested in the
working position).
•
Pressure in the hydraulic circuit should be at least 120 bar. The tractor must also be provided
with an outlet enabling oil to
flow off freely directly into the tank
(this outlet must not be
connected via the distributor).
It is forbidden to disassemble the parts of the hydraulic system that are under pressure.
Hydraulic oil that penetrates skin under high pressure causes serious injuries. In case of an injury
immediately seek medical help.
CONNECTION PROCEDURE
•
Connect the hose with the red dust cap (pressure) to the pressure output, the hose with the
green dust cap (waste) to the waste outputs of the circuit and the hose with the yellow dust
cap (overflow) to the overflow output of the tractor circuit.
When connected incorrectly, the machine is not functioning and there is a great risk of damage,
therefore pay extra attention to the proper connection!!!
FUNCTION OF THE HYDRAULIC MACHINE PROTECTION
•
The oil under pressure is supplied into the system by a pressure hose (P) via a pressure filter
(1) directly to the pistons of individual hydraulic cylinders. On achieving the required preset
pressure in the circuit, the relief valve (2) disconnects the pressure oil and discharges it back to
the tractor's tank by the waste hose (T). When overcoming an obstruction, the arched frog
forces the oil from the hydraulic cylinder back, pressure in the systems increases and the relief
(safety) valve by-passes the surplus oil by the by-pass hose (0) back to the tractor's tank. After
the obstruction is overcome, pressure decreases, the relief valve equalizes the pressure
decrease automatically and the hydraulic cylinder returns the frog into its original working
position. Pressure in the system is indicated on a checking pressure gauge (4). Maximum
permissible operational pressure in the system is 140 bar (Fig. 3).
