Operation
1) Set the post puller upright with the lever arm approximately waist high.
Note:
The ground should be firm and flat. If not, it is recommended to use a scrap
piece of plywood underneath the post puller to provide stability.
2) Position the jaw around one of the T-post studs.
3) Push the lever arm down to loosen the post.
4) Move the lever arm back to waist height and fit the jaw around a T-post stud.
5) Push down on the lever arm. The post should come out of the ground. If
it does not, repeat step 4.
Note:
The hook can be used with a ¼
"
heavy duty steel chain to remove wooden
and other non T-type posts. The post puller cannot remove a post anchored in
concrete.
Maintenance
1) Periodically check all hardware to make sure it is secure.
2) Lubricate the area between the lever arm and the jaw with a light penetrating
oil as needed.
