Installation with 2 encoders
The encoder allows for sending up to
127 calls (from 1 to 127). If the installa-
tion includes a higher number of users,
a second encoder must be added to
make calls from number 128 to 254.
Remove the jumper J1 in the second
encoder to free the 2 poles.

Programming of user’s address
related to the first button fix the user’s
address which is called by pressing the
first button; next buttons will get the 3
sequential values. In case of use of the
module CD6138PL it is possible to set
also the user’s address called by the
first button of the second column and
consequently the next three.
To program the user’s address related
to the first button it is sufficient to set
micro-switches SW1 and SW2 (the last
only for CD6138PL) located on the back
of the digital encoder. Table 1 shows
how to set micro-switches SW to set the
requested address.
