The automatic shutdown is only feasible for the above-mentioned equipment. Other equipment
and water & steam should be stopped by the operator according to corresponding requirements.
When system executes the automatic shutdown, switch "AUTO" to "MANU"
in the “production status”
image, to stop the reat of the equipment by hand.

Generally the shutdown should follow the sequence from top equipment to the bottom;
Open the bypass before stopping principal machine to enable materials to flow out via the
bypass;
In order to prolong the service life of equipment, reduce the operation speed of principal
machine (lower than 30Hz) prior to opening the bypass. Also cut idle time of principal machine as
much as possible.
Stop the main motor when all the materials are running out from the extruder barrels with no
load in the extruder.
When materials in the extruder barrels are running out, it is advisable to put water in the
extruder barrels for soaking until the die plate is removed. Then clean the extruder barrels.
5.3 Emergency stop and restart procedure
Press No.4 emergency stop button on the local control cabinet as per Fig.5-7 to shut off all the
equipment at once in case of emergency. After pressing down this button, all equipment controlled by
the local control cabinet will be powered off. If the power supply is to be recovered, release the
emergency stop button and ensure the power switch at
“on” position according to the label above the
switch to allow the power on for control. The equipment, however, won
’t resume running until the start
demand on the touch screen or control box is issued.
