4.4 CALCULATOR FUNCTION
With this function it is possible to perform the following operations between numbers:
ADD, SUBTRACT, MULTIPLY and DIVIDE.
To access the calculator mode, follow these steps:

Select the “CALCULATOR” option.
The functions appearing to the right of the monitor which can be selected by softkeys
F1 thru F5 are the following:

Addition.
-
Subtraction.
*
Multiplication.
/
Division.
EXIT quits the calculator mode. The DRO will return to show the standard display.
To operate with the calculator follow these steps:
1.- Enter the first operand from the keyboard. This figure can have a sign and up to
6 decimals.
The
key can be used to delete the last digit entered by mistake.
2.- Select the desired operation pressing its corresponding softkey.
The figure and the function that were entered go into the operation memory area
and the partial results of the indicated operations are displayed in the data entry
area.
3.- Repeat steps 1 and 2 to enter more operands.
It is possible to use the partial result shown in the data entry area as the new
operand. If not desired, key in a new figure.
It must be born in mind that the new operation has as first operand the partial result
and as second, the next figure. Example:

Partial result = 10 + 20 = 30
10 *
Partial result = 30 - 10 = 20
4 -
Partial result = 20 * 4 = 80
20 /
Partial result = 80 - 20 = 60
