4.3.1 TOOL TABLE
Up to 99 tools can be defined in the tool table.
These values can be entered by hand from the keyboard of the DRO or by transferring
them via RS232C serial port from a computer or peripheral device.
Select the “COMMUNICATIONS” option after pressing
.The receiving unit
must be ready to receive the data before starting the data transfer.
Follow these steps to key in the data from the keyboard:

Press
and select the “PROGRAMMING” option,

Select the “TOOL EDITING” option.
The DRO will display the tool table showing the two fields “RADIUS” and “LENGTH”
for each tool. The selected option will appear highlighted.
To choose another tool or field, use the
and
keys.
The
and
keys can be used to scroll the information up and down page by
page.
The functions appearing to the right of the monitor which can be selected with softkeys
F1 thru F5 are the following:
HOME
It accesses the first tool “T01” of the table.
END
It accesses the last tool “T99” of the table.
GOTO TOOL
It accesses the desired tool. The DRO will request the desired tool number and
then, after pressing
,it will highlight it.
EXIT
It exits the tool table editing mode without updating the previous information.
the DRO will return to show the “PROGRAMMING” options.
SAVE & EXIT
It exits the tool table editing mode updating the table values with the new ones.
The DRO will display again the “PROGRAMMING” options.
