4.1 SPECIAL MILL MODEL FUNCTIONS
The VNP400 has the following special functions when selected to work as a mill model
DRO by means of machine parameter P001 = MILL.
PART CENTER CALCULATION. It permits the calculation of the part’s center
using the tool itself and without the need for accessories specially designed for this
operation.
DRILLING IN LINE. Once defined the path and the required parameters, the DRO
will indicate the position of the next hole to be drilled.
BOLT HOLE PATTERN DRILLING. Once defined the path and the required
parameters, the DRO will indicate the position of the next hole to be drilled.
