, have a nameplate indicating the model as QC-PS-
. They are
connected to the three-phase mains after a passing through a mains filter.
See figure
.
The regenerative power supplies with the capacity to return energy to the
mains are also part of the FAGOR QC-PDS driver system. They have a
nameplate indicating the name of the model as QC-RPS-
-
. They are
connected to the three-phase mains after a passing through a main filter
and a choke. See figure
.
They all support line frequencies of between 50 (1-4.0 %) Hz and 60
(1+3.3 %) Hz and line voltages between 400 (1-10 %) V AC and 480
(1+10 %) V AC.
Hence we refer to:
Non-regenerative main power supplies
Non-regenerative power supplies that provide a direct current output
(depending on mains voltage) that can supply the QC-DR
drives via the
DC BUS and any excess energy is dissipated as heat via the electrical
resistors.
Available models:
The QC-PS-025 model supplies up to 25 kW of rated output power from
the DC BUS. It consists of a main power supply and it also has an
inte24 V DC auxiliary power supply allowing the power system
control electronics to be powered autonomously.
The QC-PS-045 model supplies up to 45 kW of rated output power from
the DC BUS. It only comes with the main power supply. It always needs
to be accompanied by the QC-APS-15 +24 V DC external auxiliary
power supply to feed the control electronics of the entire power system.
Regenerative main power supplies
Regenerative regulated power supplies (boost power supplies) that
provide a programmable direct current output (regardless of the mains
voltage) allowing the QC-DR
drives to be supplied via the DC BUS
return any excess energy to the mains with a near-one power factor,
thereby reducing the electrical consumption of the system without
generating any additional heat.
Available models:
The QC-RPS-
-
models supply up to the value indicated by their
reference, in kW of rated output power at the DC BUS. They come with
only one main power supply. They always need to be accompanied by
the QC-APS3-15 +24 V DC external auxiliary power supply to feed the
control electronics of the entire power system and to initiate the soft-
start.
