Maintenance
Checking Engine Oil
(Fig. 1.9.2.9)
Check with engine cold and on a flat surface. Lift hood and remove dipstick. Chek
engine oil level. Should be below full-mark. If necessary, add new oil up to fill-mark.
DO NOT OVERFILL! Total tank capacity : 1.8 l
WARNING
Strictly use high-performance motor oil with viscosity class 15W – 40.
Replacing Fuel Filters
(Fig. 1.9.2.10)
1. Park mower on a level surface and lift engine hood.
2. Slide side hose clamps away from fuel filter.
3. Hold up fuel hose on tank side to avoid fuel spills. Disconnect from old filter and
immediately connect to new filter. Disconnect fuel hose on the other side of filter
and connect it to new filter.
NOTE
Clean any spilled oil from engine and chassis.
4. Slide both hose clamps back in place
5. Inspect for leaks
PLEASE DISPOSE OF USED OILS AT PROPER COLLECTION CENTERS.

Checking Hydraulic Oil Level
(Fig. 1.9.2.11)
1. Move seat forward to access the hydraulic oil tank
2. Remove red/orange plastic cap and insert a steel meter rule inside oil tank till it
stops against the bottom. Check oil level. Should be in between 6 and 7 cm. Fill
new oil, if necessary.
WARNING
Strictly use bio-hydraulic oil with viscosity 5W - 20.
Synthetic HVI Bio-hydraulic, HEES Ester-based, high-temperature, multipurpose,
quickly biodegradable oil is recommended.
Replacing Batteries
(Fig. 1.9.2.12)
The mower is equipped with maintenance-free sealed batteries located beneath engine
hood on the right hand side under the dashboard.
1. Release holding latch
2. Lift cover and remove terminal from the battery (SW 13)
ACHTUNG
Make sure that negative terminal is always removed before positive one and vice versa
when reassembling.
3. Pull old battery out and replace with new one.
4. Slightly grease terminals before reassembly.
5. Reverse procedure to assemble new battery.
Be sure to secure new battery firmly in place!
