Certain directories and files should be protected by setting their
permissions to allow access only by administrators. To achieve this, do
the following:
1.
Remove all unnecessary access rights to the \
fsa
subdirectory. Only
the administrator who is running F-Secure Policy Manager Console
should have rights to this directory.
2.
Remove unnecessary Write/Change access rights from the
commdir.cfg
and
admin.pub
files. The Communication directory
account should have Read-only rights to these files.
After the installation has been completed, the F-Secure Policy Manager
program starts. From here, it is possible to continue by creating policy
domains and installing hosts.
Changing the Web Browser Path
The F-Secure Policy Manager Console acquires the file path to the
default Web browser during setup. If you want to change the Web
browser path, open the
Tools
menu, and select
Preferences
.
Select the
Locations
tab and enter the new file path.
