Add disclaimer to
message
Select whether a disclaimer should be added
to e-mail messages that have been
processed and found clean.
Since malware and virus writers often use
spoofing techniques to forge e-mail
disclaimers, it is not recommended to use
them to declare that an e-mail message or
an attachment is clean. The recommended
practice is to use the disclaimer for legal
notices or company specific banners.
The disclaimer is not added to S/MIME
(PKCS#7) signed or encrypted e-mail
messages to avoid breaking the digital
signature.
