MLC 104 IP Plus Series Controller Reset Mode Summary
Mode Activation Result Purpose and

Reset to
Factory Defaults

Hold down the Reset button for about
9 seconds until the Reset LED blinks
three
times (once at 3 seconds, again at
6 seconds, again at 9 seconds).
Then release and press Reset momentarily
(for <1 second) within 1 second*.
Mode 5 performs a complete reset to factory defaults
(except the firmware).

Does everything mode 4 does
•
Resets almost all the real-time adjustments: all audio settings,
limit initial power up volume, power up/down delay, auto
power down, and miscellaneous options. This does not affect
an optional MLS or PVS switcher, however.
•
Clears driver-port associations and port configurations (IR and
serial)
•
Removes button configurations
•
Resets all IP options
•
Removes scheduling settings
• Removes/clears all files from the MLC controller
The Reset LED flashes four times in quick succession during reset.
Mode 5 is useful
if you want to
start over with
configuration and
uploading, and also
to replace events.
This is identical
to SIS command
ZQQQ
]
.
*For modes 3, 4, and 5, nothing happens if the momentary press does not occur within 1 second.
