NOTE: The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have been set
to the device serial number. In the event of a complete system reset, the passwords
convert to the default, which is
extron for the
Admin
and
User
(see Roles and
Permissions Panel on page 45 to change a password).
Switcher Error Responses
When the switcher receives an SIS command and determines that it is valid, it performs the
command and sends a response to the host device. If the switcher is unable to perform
the command because the command is invalid or contains invalid parameters, the switcher
returns an error response to the host. The error response codes are:
E01
— Invalid input number
E10 — Invalid command
E11 — Invalid preset number
E12 — Invalid output number
E13 — Invalid parameter
E14 — Invalid command for this configuration
E17 — Invalid command for signal type
E18
— System or command timed out
E21 — Invalid room number
E22 — Busy
E24 — Privileges violation (Ethernet only. Personnel logged in as users attempting
operations requiring administrator privileges. Users have access to all view
and read commands [other than the administrator password], and can create
ties and presets, and mute and unmute the output.)
NOTE:
Commands give E24 if not administrator level.
E25
— Device not present
E26 — Maximum number of connections exceeded
E28 — Bad filename or file not found
NOTE:
If the unit does not support or recognize the entered commands, no response is
issued.
