DEsCrIPtIon
The Extron
DDTX DVI & DDRX DVI
is a DVI Transmitter/Receiver pair of products for
long-distance transmission of single link DVI - Digital Visual Interface signals. DVI video
signals typically are limited to maximum transmission distances up to 15 feet (5 m). Using the
DDTX DVI and DDRX DVI, DVI signals can be transmitted up to 330 feet (100 m) using Extron
RG6/SHR-4 coaxial cable or 150 feet (45 m) using Extron RG59/HR coaxial cable, while the
bi-directional DDC Display Data Channel can be carried over Extron CTL Series cable. The
DDTX DVI and DDRX DVI can also transmit HDMI - High Definition Multimedia Interface signals
with optional Extron HDMI-DVI adapters.
The DDTX DVI is housed in a 1U, half rack width metal enclosure. The DDRX DVI receiver is
housed in a compact enclosure that is small enough to be mounted near the display.
