Residual risks
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
•
Never touch the mains plug on the
mains power cable with wet or damp
hands when plugging it in or
unplugging it.
•
Do not carry out any work on the
appliance other than the cleaning
and service work described in this
instruction manual.
•
Remove the mains plug from the
plug socket before starting cleaning
or service work.
•
In an emergency, pull the mains
plug out of the plug socket
immediately.
•
Install and connect the appliance
only in accordance with the
description in the instruction
manual.
•
If the mains power cable or mains
plug is damaged, do not use the
appliance anymore.

Putting into operation
Unpacking the appliance
Before opening, check the packaging for
damage. The packaging materials must be
undamaged.
Inspect the appliance for transport
damage. On no account should a damaged
appliance be used. In case of damage,
contact the supplier/dealer.
Remove the appliance from the
packaging.
Check delivery for completeness.
In case of incomplete or damaged
delivery, contact customer service -
see service address.
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
•
Do not cut packaging material with a
sharp object, e.g. carpet knife.
•
Remove the transport protection.
•
The appliance and set-up of the
accessories are secured for
transport. Remove all adhesive
tapes and packaging parts from the
appliance.
•
There may be stickers with warnings
on the appliance. These must be
observed and not removed from the
appliance.

Using for the first time
Cleaning the appliance
1.
Remove the packaging material and
all protective films.
2.
Before using the appliance for the
first time, clean all parts of the
appliance as described in the
"Cleaning" section.
Setting up the appliance
Mount the appliance according to the figure
"Getting to know the appliance".
Place the appliance in the middle of
a table out of reach of children.
Place the appliance on a solid table;
do not use a soft base.
Electrical connection
To ensure safe and fault-free operation of
the appliance, the following instructions
must be observed when making the
electrical connection:
Before connecting the appliance,
compare the connection data
(voltage and frequency) on the type
plate with those of your electrical
network. This data must match to
prevent damage to the appliance. If
in doubt, contact a qualified
electrician.
The socket must be protected by a
16A circuit breaker.
If using an extension cable, it must
have a cross-section of 1.5mm².
