TRANSCEIVER OPERATIONS
7.31 Microphone gain control
In the MB1 transceiver Microphone gain cont rol is carried out by rotating the MI C knob on
the front panel of the transceiver and determines the max coefficient of the microphone AGC
gain.
MI C - Knob for microphone input (in dB) gain control.
Rotate the MI C knob to set the required level of microphone AGC gain. Rotate the MI C knob
clockwise to increase microphone AGC gain, counter clockwise to decrease microphone AGC
gain.
The microphone gain level is displayed in the software Main window.
Note:

Set the level of microphone AGC gain, that microphone signal is increased to the -10...-5 dB
level on the MIC-meter indicator (green bar).

When the microphone AGC is disabled, MIC knob controls the gain by the microphone.

In the telephone modes - knob controls microphone gain, in the CW mode - knob controls the
manipulation speed.
7.32 Selecting the microphone's input
Select ing t he microphone's input - is carried out by the pressing of the MI C button on the
the front panel of the transceiver.
Press the MI C button several times to choose the required microphone input MI C1, MI C2,
MI C PC.

MI C2 - Dynamic input.

MI C PC - Sound card input.
