Safety

•  Incorrect charging current may damage your computer. 

Make sure that the adaptor is designed to be used for 
your computer before connecting it.

•  Never attempt to modify or disassemble the adaptor.
•  Turn off your computer before connecting the adaptor.
•  Do not expose the adaptor to moisture, knocks or blows.
•  The adaptor is only intended for indoor use.
•  Never use the product if either the mains lead, connector 

lead or adaptor itself is damaged.

Use

Note:

•  The adaptor is capable of charging and powering laptops 

which require 18 V DC, 19 V DC or 20 V DC current. 
The adaptor must only be used with computers which 
require a power output of between 0 and 45 W.

•  Make sure that the output power and voltage of the adaptor 

is compatible with your laptop before connecting it. Refer to 
the owner’s manual or documentation for your laptop if you 
are at all unsure.

•  The adaptor will become warm during use, which is entirely 

normal.

1.  Connect the appropriate DC connector plug tip to 

the charger’s connector plug, refer to the table below.

2.  Plug the mains lead into the charger.
3.  Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
4.  Make sure that you have selected the appropriate 

connector tip and connect it to your Chromebook.

Note:

 Make sure that the adaptor’s output voltage is 

compatible with your laptop before connecting it.

Adaptors

The connector plug tips can only be connected to the charger’s 
plug in one way. This is to ensure that the polarity always 
remains correct. Select the appropriate connector tip using 
the diagram below and make sure that the connector is 
securely connected to the charger plug and your Chromebook.

Care and maintenance

Unplug the charger from the wall socket if the product is not be 
used for an extended period.

Troubleshooting guide

The Chromebook 
doesn’t charge.

•  Make sure that the correct 

connector tip is used and that 
all leads are whole and correctly 
connected to the charger, 
Chromebook and power point.

•  Is the wall socket live?
•  Is the Chromebook’s battery in 

good enough condition to retain 
a charge?
