Connecting a Mouse and Keyboard to the T200S
To operate the T200S GUI, you can use the touchscreen or connect a USB mouse and
keyboard to the USB-A 2.0 and USB-A 3.0 ports located on the rear panel of the T200S (see
To connect a mouse and keyboard:
Connect the USB mouse and keyboard to one of the available USB-A ports of the T200S
mainframe (you do not need to restart the T200S).
All operations available using the multi-touch screen are also accessible using the mouse
and keyboard (QWERTY keyboard).
Turning on the T200S and Accessing the GUI
At startup, the T200S initializes before warming up and performing internal referencing. You
can decide to skip the warming-up and full referencing operation during startup: in this
case, you can fully use the T200S but performances are not guaranteed.
The touch screen display enables you to access all the T200S functions.
To access the T200S graphical user interface:

Make sure the T200S is properly installed: see
Unpacking and Installing the T200S

On the T200S front panel, press the on/off button (see

If you start the T200S for the first time, accept the license agreement.
The startup routine starts.

Do one of the following:

Wait until the end of the full startup procedure. The full startup procedure takes
approximately 1 hour.

Skip the warm-up operation by touching the
Skip
button when it appears on
screen. In this case, the startup procedure takes approximately 1 minute.
The startup procedure completes. The laser beam is enabled and the T200S is ready to
be used.

AUTION
During the startup routine, the T200S produces a laser beam. To avoid eye damage,
do not look into the laser output or into the end of an optical cable.
