Managing the AMT User Accounts
Managing the AMT User Accounts
By default, there is only one user account defined for the AMT application
(
admin ). This user account allows you to connect as an administrator of
the system.
As an AMT administrator of the system, you can create user accounts,
modify them, or even remove them if you no longer want anybody to use
these accounts for connection.
Note:
If you want to modify the administrator user account, see Changing the
AMT Administrator Password
on page 103 .
Note:
The AMT user accounts are completely independent of Windows user
accounts.
To create a user account:
1.
Connect to your unit in management mode (see
Connecting to Your
Unit Remotely With AMT Remote Access on page 95).
2. From the main window, click
User Accounts
.
3.
Click the New button.
