Latency
Latency
The objective of this test is to find the time required for the sent frame to go
through the device under test and return to the IQS-8500 Series and
IQS-8120NGE/8130NGE. Starting by sending a stream of frames for the
predefined duration (
Test Time
) and throughput (
% Util.
) at a particular
frame size (
Frame Size
), an identifying dependent tag is included in one
frame. The time at which this frame is transmitted is recorded
(
timestamp A
). When the tagged frames come back, the time is recorded
again (
timestamp B
) and the Latency result is:

. The test is repeated for the defined number of times (

) and the average result is calculated. The test is performed for
