IEEE 488.2 Commands—Description
*REM
Description This command is used to set the Remote
programming state that determines if the source
will be controlled locally or remotely.
Syntax *REM<wsp><RemoteState>
Parameter(s)
RemoteState:
The program syntax data for <RemoteState> is
defined as a <Boolean Program Data> element.
The <RemoteState> special forms ON and OFF
are accepted on input for increased readibility.
ON corresponds to 1 and OFF to 0.
The <RemoteState> parameter is the new
remote state of the CD/PMD Analyzer Source:
“0”- to set Local state.
“1”- to set Remote state.
Example(s) *REM 1
Notes This command can only be used with RS-232
communication.
