1 Introducing the CT440
Product Features
The CT440 is a compact instrument designed for spectral characterization of passive optical
components by synchronous optical power detection using one or more sweeping laser
source(s). It covers the specified transmission band in one run.
The CT440 provides the transmission function (TF) of the device under test (DUT) with the
help of one or more sweeping laser sources.
It identifies and switches, from one port to the next, the available laser sources to go
through a common output port in order to use a multi TLS source as a unique (usually very
wide band) source.
