E. EGW1-MB-HT with PACTware© in transparent mode

 

 
Here you we’ll describe how to configure PACTware software to configure HART devices remotetly using 
the EGW1-MB-HT in transparent mode.  
 
Before proceeding read section 5.3 on this manual. 
 
For this example we’ll use the PACTware software, the CodeWrights 

HART Communication FDT 1.2 DTM 

(V1.0.52)

 and the serial port redirector software SerialIP. 

 
Steps  
 

1)

 

Install the SerialIP redirector, add a COM port and configure the EGW1-MB-HT IP address the TCP 
port (10001, 10002 o 10003 for ports  A,B or C) in 

Raw TCP Connection 

mode 

 

 

 

2)

 

Install the CodeWrights 

HART Communication FDT 1.2 DTM (V1.0.52)
