Installation and Operation

Back panel components

Fan

. The fan reduces the autoloader’s operating temperature.

Power entry module.

The power entry module includes the

AC power connector and the power switch.

9-pin serial port.

The serial port allows you to connect a serial

cable to the autoloader and use a terminal emulation program
to perform diagnostics.

SCSI connectors.

The two wide SCSI connectors allow you to

connect the autoloader to a wide SCSI bus. If desired, you can
connect the autoloader to a narrow SCSI bus using the
appropriate SCSI cable adapter.
