Enabling the Autoclean Option
After setting up the cleaning slot and the number of cleaning cycles remaining,
you can turn on autocleaning by enabling the Autoclean option:

to display the menus. Press the down arrow key
until “Config Menu” appears, then press
[ENTER]

Press the down arrow key until “Autoclean Option” appears. This screen
shows whether Autoclean is enabled (1) or not (0).

. The following screen appears.

Press the up or down arrow key to select “1,” which turns on the Autoclean
option, or “0” to turn the option off, then press
[ENTER]
.
Note:
When the Cleaning Tape Cycles Left counter reaches zero, the library
disables Autoclean and displays a message on the Status screen that
reminds you to replace the cleaning tape.

If you are using bar code labels with your cartridges, you can set options that
determine when the library scans all of the cartridge labels and whether the
library verifies checksum characters on the labels.
Setting the POST Bar Code Scan Option
When the POST Bar Code Scan option is enabled, the library automatically
scans the bar code labels whenever the library’s door is opened and closed or
whenever the library is powered up. By default, this option is turned off.
Enabling this option increases the amount of time the library requires to
complete POST (power-on self-test).
To turn on the POST Bar Code Scan option:
