The Construction Card is a contactless RFID chip based on MIFARE DESFire EV1, which is able to
open Xesar access components in construction mode.

Note:
Construction mode is active as long as the Xesar access component has not been
assigned to a system. Upon delivery, each Xesar access component is in construc-
tion mode.

Manual office mode is also available in addition to conventional access component operation (see
Section:

Manual office

. The Construction Card is ready for use immediately and it must not

be programmed using the Xesar coding station.

Caution:
Please note that your system can be operated with any Construction Card when it
is in construction mode. For this reason, initialise your system as quickly as possible.
