Creating cards
If you run the function to create a card in the AirKey online administration, you require a
coding station. As the coding station is an optional accessory, the description is listed as
"Optional". Please refer to

detailed information on installing coding stations. If you do not have a coding station
available, you can add cards, key tags or combi keys to the system using a smartphone
in maintenance mode. Proceed as described in
Adding AirKey components
.

Connect the coding station to your computer.

In
Media & persons
, click on
Create medium.
>
Select
Card
as the new medium and click
Continue
.
>
Enter a designation and click
Create medium
>
Hold the card to the coding station.
The detailed view of this medium automatically opens once you have successfully com-
pleted the process.
We explicitly recommend to create a sufficient number of preconfigured
media (cards, key tags) featuring permanent authorisations without an ex-
piry date (emergency media) and keep these safe to be able to operate the
locking system regardless of the AirKey online administration. Please refer
