Updating smartphones
You can manually update smartphones at any time to keep the AirKey locking system
data up to date.

icon within the AirKey app.

During the update the bottom section of the AirKey app shows status information regard-
ing the update. The update is complete once the information is no longer shown.
AirKey uses push notifications to send data to smartphones and conse-
quently update them automatically. We cannot guarantee all push notifica-
tions can be received correctly. For this reason, check whether the notifica-
tions have been received and (if applicable) update your smartphone
manually.
The smartphone updates automatically as soon as you start the AirKey app
or once a day if you have already started the AirKey app.

Connecting to components
Use your smartphone to update any AirKey medium (except smartphones) and any
AirKey locking components regardless of their association with this locking system.
