Network Tab
The Network tab enables you to configure the card's IP network settings and see the corresponding
status.
1.
Eth1 (1Gbps)
: In this groupbox, you are able to manually specify the IP network settings.

MAC Address
: This field displays the MAC address (unique hardware ID) of the card.
3.
IP Configuration
: With this setting you can select either to allow the card obtain an IP address
automatically via DHCP, or assign an IP address manually. By default this is set to DHCP.
4.
IP Address
: When IP Configuration is set to manual, you can specify the IP network address to be
used for the device. By default it is set to 0.0.0.0
5.
Subnet Mask
: When IP Configuration is set to manual, with this setting you can set a Netmask.
Default is 0.0.0.0
6.
Network Prefix
: With IP Configuration set to manual, this item lets you set a network mask prefix
varying from 0 to 30 bit. The subnet mask changes accordingly.
7.
Gateway
: With IP Configuration set to manual, this setting lets you set a Standard Gateway. Default
is set to 0.0.0.0.
8.
Primary DNS
: Primary Domain name server to be used for resolving hostnames. Default IP address is
0.0.0.0.
9.
Secondary DNS
: Secondary Domain name server to be used for resolving hostnames. Default IP
address is 0.0.0.0.
10.
Eth1 Status
: The items in this groupbox show the card's effective IP connection status information.
As the IP configuration is set to DHCP in the illustration, the status items display the settings that
have been assigned automatically.
11.
IP Address
: The IP network address currently being used to connect to the card.
