Carefully pick up the CPU cooler. Align
the notches on the CPU to the notches
in the socket, and also align the
mounting dowels to the holes in the clip.
When ready, lower the processor and
cooler straight down into the socket.
Note:
The gold triangle key on the CPU
should match the triangle key on
the load plate.

Begin tightening the screws in the order
specified by the CPU cooler installation
instructions. In this case, the cooler tells
us to fasten the cooler in the order of 1,
2, 3, and 4.

Continue fastening the CPU cooler until
all screws are fastened. Make sure to plug
the CPU cooler’s fan into one of the
CPU fan headers.
Note: After removing the CPU socket cover, it is recommended to store it in case
you ever need to transport your motherboard. If you ever remove the CPU, it
is highly recommended to reinstall the socket cover.
Installing the CPU Cooling Device
There are many different cooling devices that can be used with this
motherboard. Follow the instructions that come with your cooling assembly.
