The SnoCobra ski system is not designed to take excessive abuse. For example, the system is not
designed to withstand the forces associated with hitting obstacles such as rocks, stumps, etc.
without damage being caused to the ski system. It is not advisable to attempt to drive over any such
obstacle, or over a steep ridge that could lodge itself between the front skis and the rear track
systems and immobilize the vehicle. The best option is to bypass this type of obstacle. If this is not
possible, insert a log or a stone near the obstacle to make slowly driving over it easier and safer.
A vehicle equipped with the SnoCobra ski system cannot cross open water. They were not designed
to skip water and do not float. Stay away from open water and thin ice.
Towing/Winching
Do not attach a chain, tow strap, or hook directly to, or around the SnoCobra ski, saddle
brackets, or ski handle. Read the ATV Operator’s Manual to learn where the towing points are
on the vehicle frame, front and back.
