The 5782DEC can decode up to 8 audio PIDs, and for each of the audio PIDs the following information
is monitored and displayed.

Audio PID Number:

This parameter displays the Audio Packet ID (PID) number for the audio stream

that is being decoded.

Audio Bitrate:

This parameter displays the audio bitrate for the audio stream that is being decoded.

Audio Type:

This parameter displays the audio compression type of the audio stream that is being

decoded.

Sampling Rate:

This parameter displays information such as sampling frequency; channel

configuration etc. for the audio stream that is being decoded.

Number of Channels:

This parameter displays the number of audio channels that are being decoded

by the decoder.
