5.4.1.7 Video Cover
This function is only available for analog cameras. The Privacy Mask can block out sensitive
areas from view. This feature is useful when users don’t want the sensitive information
visible. Up to four Privacy Masks can be configured.
To configure privacy masks:
1.
Select a channel from the
Channel
drop-down list.
2.
Switch the
Enable
button to the right to enable the function.
3.
Use your mouse to draw a rectangle area (mask) on the right-side image. Up to 4 areas
are available.
4.
You can drag the area and drop the area to the desired location on the image. If you
want to adjust the size of the area, drag the edge of the area to re-size.
5.
Click the
Save
button to save the settings.
Click
Save
to save the settings or
Refresh
to refresh the page.
Click the
Copy
button to display the channel options. Select the channels and then click the
Copy
button to copy the same configurations from this channel to the selected channels.
