Press the ON/OFF switch to On.
Pull the starter rope out until you
feel resistance. Then pull the cord
sharply all the way out. Repeat this
process until the engine starts.
Slowly and gradualy restore the
choke to ist original setting; the
engine must continue to run
smoothly.
After starting the engine, run without drawing any power for around 3 minutes.
Then connect the devices; if multiple devices are to be connected, do so one
by one, connecting the most demanding first.
Most devices require more power when starting than during operation (peak
flow); be careful that you do not exceed the maximum output of the
generator!
To stop the generator, first switch off all of the connected devices and
disconnect them. Then press the start button into the 'stop' setting; the engine
will stop. Finally, shut the fuel tap (OFF).
Safety recommendations
The EUROM GE720 is fitted with a thermal safeguard that switches the device
off if it is overloaded. The red 230V- safety button is located on the front, by
the 230V-socket; the 12V-safety button is on the side, near the 12V-socket. In
the event of an overload, the button will pop out.
Disconnect all devices and let the generator cool down for at least 5 minutes.
Then reset the generator by pushing the button in again. Restart the generator
with a lower load.
If the thermal safeguard switches off the generator even though you know that
it is not overloaded, stop using the generator and take it to your supplier for
checks/repair.
