Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it.
Please note that damages caused by manual modifications on the device or unauthorized operation by
unqualified persons are not subject to warranty.
Keep away children, amateurs and pets from the device!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried
out by authorized dealers.
Caution:
Only the LED spot and the connection cable (power cable) may come in contact with water – not the plug or
plug-in adapter. The power adapter must have at least 2 m clearance to the water. Position the power
adapter where it cannot be flooded!
Be sure to allow a drip loop, i.e. at least at one point the power cable should hang lower than the spot and
the power outlet. At this point water may be able to drip down instead of reaching the power outlet.
The combination of water and electricity can imply a high risk to life and limb, if the unit is incorrectly
connected or inappropriately handled.
Please keep in mind that the power cable may pose a trip hazard.
OPERATING DETERMINATIONS
WW-40 are portable LED spots for creating decorative effects and were designed for operation under water
and above the water surface. They can be used to a maximum immersion depth of 1 m under water.
The LED spots are allowed to be operated with an alternating current of 12 V, 50 Hz and must only be
operated with the enclosed power adaptor.
This spots are waterproof (IP X8), the power adaptor is splash-proof (protection grade IP X4) and can
therefore be used inside and outside.
In order to maintain this protection grades after opening the housing, any rubber sealings must be examined
for damages and always be correctly installed.
For outdoor use, the installer must always make sure to connect a rubber cable H05RN-F or HO5RR-F. For
installations in the ground, an underground power cable NYY must be used!
All valid instructions concerning the installation of cables outdoors or in the ground must be adhered!
The ambient temperature must always be between -25° C and +45° C. Keep away from direct insulation
(particularly in cars) and heaters.
The maximum relative humidity is 100 % with an ambient temperature of 25° C.
This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
When choosing the installation spot, please make sure that there are no cables lying around. You endanger
your own and the safety of others!
This luminaire must never be covered. Danger of burning!
The F-symbol means: this device can be installed on normal inflammable surfaces.
The symbol

determines the minimum distance from lighted objects. The minimum distance
between light-output and the illuminated surface must be more than the given value.
