MOUNTING AND CONNECTION
1
Fix the LED strip at a desired place by means of the self-adhesive foil
on the rear side. The installation place should be clean, dry and free
of grease. Various profile frames are available as accessory.
2
Connect the plug of the control unit via the link connector to the input
connector at one end of the LED strip. The arrows of both plugs must
point to each other. Otherwise the LEDs do not light up.
3
Fix the control unit at a suitable place with two screws. Alternatively
use double-sided adhesive tape.
4
Fix the infrared sensor with adhesive tape so that it is capable of
receiving the control signals from the remote control without obstacles.
5
Connect the supplied power supply unit to power input at the control
unit and to a mains outlet. The LEDs light up according to the last
control program selected.
6
The LED strip can be cut with scissors
at the cutting marks
. As a
result the connection wires must be soldered anew. Assign this task to
a skilled professional. For custom-made versions, please make sure
that the power supply unit and the current-carrying cables of the set
are not overloaded.
Interconnecting LED Strips
The power supply unit included is able to power up to 10 meter of the LED
strip, thus e.g. two 5-meter LED strips can be interconnected. For this,
connect the end of the first strip via the link connector to the input of the
subsequent strip. Again, observe the correct polarity. If necessary, extension
cables may be inserted between LED strips. Extensions are good to bridge
difficult mounting positions, e.g. corners and edges. Various lengths are
available as accessory.
