Positioning
a) General
To ensure proper reception of the radio signal, the product should not be positioned or installed
next to other electronic devices, cables, metal components, etc.
b) Table mounting
•
Choose an even, flat and stable location for the device.
• Protect valuable furniture surfaces with a suitable pad to prevent scratching.
• Fold the support foot (8) down.
• Fold up the plate on the top side of the support foot.
• Insert the support foot into the housing up to the stop.
• Insert the plate into the elongated recess.
• Make sure the product cannot fall down.
c) Wall installation
• At the back there is a suspension device (4), with which you can hang the product on a wall.
•
A suitable screw (not included) is required for wall installation.
• Make sure, that the screw and the wall can support the weight of the product.
Operation
a) Download the App
Download the free App “BLE Alarm” and install it on your mobile device.

b) Pairing
• Activate Bluetooth
®
on your mobile device.
• Open the App. An overview of nearby devices appears on the screen.
•
Tap on “Pair new device”.
•
Keep the button
PAIR
(3) depressed for 5 seconds. The Bluetooth
®
symbol (12) flashes on
the wall clock display.
•
Tap on “BLE Wall Clock”. The wall clock is now paired with your mobile device. Thereby the
time, date, temperature and humidity are transferred automatically to the wall clock. The
Bluetooth
®
symbol is lit continuously on the wall clock display.
The wall clock can only be paired with one single mobile device at a time.
A mobile device can be paired with up to 5 wall clocks.
c) Renaming the wall clock
In the App main overview tap on “BLE Wall Clock” and change the name as required.
Renaming is recommended, if you pair a mobile device with multiple identical wall
clocks.
d) Battery status indicator

The battery status of the wall clock is displayed in the upper right area of the App main
overview.

If the capacity falls below 20 %, a corresponding warning appears on the mobile device. Then
change the batteries as previously described.
e) Setting the alarm time
You can set max. 5 alarms.
•
In the App main overview tap on “Alarm 1”. The overview for the individual alarm settings
appears on the display.
•
Tap above in the middle on “Alarm 1”, to rename the alarm as required.
• Set the alarm time.
• Select the weekday on which the alarm should sound at the preset time.
If you do not select any weekday, the alarm is set as unique alarm.
•
Select 1 of 5 alarm tones. The corresponding tone example sounds from the wall clock. Tap
on “End”, to cancel the tone example.
Tap on the button at the right next to the 5 for a random selection of the alarm tone.
• Select the volume of the alarm tone: Low, Medium or Loud.
•
Tap on the button above left, in order to save the settings and at the same time activate the
alarm.
• You can also activate or deactivate the alarm in the App main overview with the button at the
right outer edge.
•
To set further alarms, proceed as previously described.
• On the lower display (11) of the wall clock, bell symbols (10) appear for the set alarms.
f) Canceling the alarm
•
The alarm sounds for 1 minute (factory setting).
• Press the button ALARM ON/OFF (5), to cancel the alarm.
• If you do not press any button, the alarm sounds again after 5 minutes.
If you do not deactivate the alarm manually, the signal sounds again after expiry of
the snooze time.
g) Canceling the alarm via App (iOS only)
• As soon as the alarm sounds, a crossed out bell symbol appears in the overview of paired
devices.
•
Tap on the crossed out bell symbol to cancel the alarm.
h) Snooze function
• As soon as the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE
button (6). The alarm sounds again after
5 minutes (factory setting).
•
The snooze function can be repeated 3-times (factory setting).
i) Countdown timer
•
In the App main overview tap on “Timer”. The overview for the timer settings appears on the
display.
• Set the countdown duration.
•
Select 1 of 5 alarm tones. The corresponding tone example sounds from the wall clock. Tap
on “End”, to cancel the tone example.
Tap on the button at the right next to the 5 for a random selection of the alarm tone.
• Select the volume of the alarm tone: Quiet, Medium or Loud.
•
Tap on the button above left, in order to save the settings.
•
In the App main overview tap on “Start”, to start the countdown. While the countdown is
running, a triangle flashes at the right edge of the upper display.
•
Tap on “Stop”, to interrupt the countdown or to deactivate the alarm signal.
•
Tap on “Reset”, to reset the countdown.
j) Temperature and relative humidity
•
In the App main overview tap on “Conditions”. A graphic representation of the temperature
and humidity profile appears on the display.
• Swipe to the right to display the data of the previous days.
• If your mobile device is not linked with the wall clock, you can still display the climate data in
the App. In the overview of nearby devices, tap on the corresponding button at the right next
to the device name.
k) Canceling pairing
• In the overview of nearby devices, tap on the button above right.
•
Tap on “Edit”.
•
Tap on the red symbol next to the device name.
•
Tap on “Delete”. The wall clock is deleted from the list.
