Loading the vehicle
DANGER!
Risk of accident and damage to the vehicle
Loading the vehicle incorrectly will have a negative impact on the driving characteristics of the vehicle
and may cause accidents or damage to the vehicle.
)
Do not exceed the permissible maximum laden mass and the permissible axle load as indicated
in the registration certificate (vehicle documents) when loading the vehicle.
)
Exceeding the permissible maximum laden mass and too little tyre pressure may cause the tyres to
burst. The vehicle could veer out of control!
)
All additional weights carried beyond the information in section “21.2.4 Maximum load capacity”
reduce the maximum payload!
)
Make sure that the centre of gravity of the loaded items is just above the vehicle floor or as close to
the vehicle floor as possible when loading the vehicle.
)
Ensure that the payload is distributed evenly between the left and the right side of the vehicle when
loading the vehicle.
NOTE!
The registration certificate (vehicle documents) only specifies the permissible maximum laden mass, not
the unladen weight of the vehicle. Therefore, we recommend weighing the vehicle on a public weigh-
bridge before starting the journey!
