Description & equipment

3.1

Base vehicle

A FIAT Ducato chassis is used as the base vehicle for the

VANTourer

motorhome.

NOTE!

For further information on the base vehicle, please refer to the separate operating manual provided by
the manufacturer of the base vehicle.

3.2

Gas locker

The vehicle is equipped with a separate lockable gas locker. The gas locker is sealed off from the interior of the vehicle
and has a vent hole in or directly above the floor plate.

3.3

Interior fittings and furniture

The high-quality furnishings are manufactured from a combination of various materials and are patterned. A special
technique is used to bend curved furniture. Curved furniture sections are made with multiple-bonded wood, also
patterned. This type of finish ensures that furniture surfaces are simple and easy to keep clean.

Particular attention is also paid to securing the furniture in the interior of all

VANTourer

vehicles. To enable the ab-

sorption of correspondingly large forces, multi-laminated plywood strips and metal inserts are fastened to the side
walls at corresponding places. These attachment points are incorporated during manufacture of the side walls which
ensures a high level of strength.

All flaps on storage compartments and cupboard doors are fitted with high-quality locks to prevent unwanted open-
ing. Great importance is also attached to quality when choosing the fittings on the flaps and doors used in the vehicle.

Depending on the layout, equipment or model, the vehicle may be equipped with a swivelling driver’s seat and pas-
senger seat which can be arranged to form a seating group with a dinette table.

3.4

Beds

Depending on the layout, equipment and model, the vehicle may be equipped with fixed beds, lifting beds or a bed in
the pop-up roof. In addition to that, the seating group may be converted into a bed depending on the layout, equip-
ment and model. Spacious storage compartments can be found above the rear bed.
