5.4 Replacing carbon brushes
Carbon brushes are normal wearing parts and may need replacement after a longer time of use. The
motor of the machine comes to a standstill whenever the brushes are worn out. To prevent sudden
standstill during operation, replacing the carbon brushes when they reach their wear limit is advised.
