8. Mounting
Assembly instructions are included with the device and form part of these operating instructions.
Observe the following points during mounting:

Install the reader on the side of the touch panel. If the reader is installed on the upper or lower frame of the touch panel,
make sure that:
-no dust or dirt particles can enter the card holder from above.
-vibrations cannot cause the smart card to fall out of the reader.

Ensure adequate ventilation for the device to maintain the ambient temperature (see
13. Technical data on page 14).

Maintain a distance of at least 2.5 mm from metal surfaces.

Fasten screws with a tightening torque of 1
