WARRANTY

Etymotic Research, Inc. warrants each insert earphone it manufactures

to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one

year from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Etymotic Research’s

obligation under this warranty is fulfilled, at ERI’s option, by replacing

the product in kind without charge to the original purchaser, repairing

the part, or crediting the original purchaser with the purchase price of

the returned defective part. For a part to be covered by the warranty

it must be returned to Etymotic Research, postage prepaid, within

the warranty period, and the part must not show evidence of misuse,

neglect, incorrect wiring by others, or improper installation.

DISPOSAL

Within the European Union it is illegal to dispose of electrical and

electronic waste as unsorted municipal waste. Electrical and electronic

waste may contain hazardous substances and therefore have to be

disposed of separately. Such products will be marked with the crossed-

out wheelie-bin image shown below. User cooperation is important

in order to ensure a high level of reuse and recycling of electrical

and electronic waste. Failure to recycle such waste products in an

appropriate way may endanger the environment and consequently the

health of human beings. Outside the European Union, local regulations

should be followed when disposing of the product after its useful life.
