Two twisted pairs SHDSL line set up (XSLAN-2400, 2220, 2230)
When two XSLANs SHDSL switches are connected through a 2 twisted
pairs line,
up to 4,6 Mb/s instead of 2,3 Mb/s can be provided;
The data flow is automatically shared over the two pairs;
both ports of the XSLAN Nr 1 have to be set as a LTU (calling party)
and both ports of the other one have to be configured as an “NTU”.

The DIP switches allow to set up the port 1. Once the port 1 has been set
up with the DIP switches, the port 2 is then automatically set up by the
product itself.

XSLAN Nr 1 set up
SW1 & SW2
Set up DIP switches SW1 an SW2 ON to enable DIP switches operations.
SW3, SW4, SW5
Set the XSLAN Nr 1 as a LTU and select the data rate according to the
distance and the cable quality (see appendix 1).

XSLAN Nr 2 set up
SW1 & SW2
Set up DIP switches SW1 an SW2 ON to enable DIP switches operations.
SW3, SW4, SW5
Set SW3, SW4, SW5 OFF to set up the XSLAN Nr 2 as a NTU.
