DO NOT:

•  Use caustic, automatic dishwasher detergents.
•  Machine wash or machine dry the cushion.
•  Use abrasives such as steel wool or scouring pads.
•  Use cleaning products containing petroleum or organic solvents including

acetone, toluene, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), naphtha, dry cleaning fluids,
adhesive removers, etc.

•  Allow water or cleaning solution to enter the product.
•  Expose to direct sunlight, ultraviolet light or ozone gas cleaning methods.
•  Use oil-based lotions, lanolin, or phenolic-based disinfectants on your

product, as they  may compromise the integrity of the material.

CLEANING & DISINFECTING:

Cleaning and disinfecting are two separate processes.  Cleaning must precede
disinfection.

Note:

Before use by a different individual, clean, disinfect, and check

product for proper functioning.

To Clean the Cushion:

Turn the valve clockwise to close and place
cushion in large sink.  Use mild liquid hand soap, hand dishwashing liquid,
laundry detergent, or multipurpose detergent that is used for general cleaning.
Dilute, following product label directions for surface cleaning. Use a soft plastic
bristle brush, sponge or washcloth to gently scrub all cushion surfaces.  Rinse
with

clean

water. Air

dry.

To Disinfect the Cushion:

Repeat cleaning instructions. Use

solution of 1 part household liquid bleach per 9 parts of warm water.  Follow
safety guidelines on bleach product label.  Keep the clean product wet with
bleach solution for 10 minutes.  Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.

Note:

Most germicidal disinfectants are safe if used following the disinfectant

manufacturer’s dilution directions.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

Cushion Not Holding Air:

Inflate cushion. Then confirm that the valve is

completely closed (turn valve

clockwise

). Look for holes. If large holes or leaks

are found, see LIMITED WARRANTY. If very small holes or no holes are visible,
follow the instructions in the Repair Kit provided with your product.

Cushion is Uncomfortable/Unstable:

Make sure the cushion is not over-inflated

(see ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS).  Make sure air cells are facing up.
