Information for planning
Planning information
The following points must be considered for smooth
operation.
•
The maximum working area is 36 m² with a room
height of 2.5 m. Room heights of up to 3.5 m are
possible; the working area is reduced to 16 m² in
this case. The maximum suction height is 4 m.
•
The maximum hose length for the flexible suction
hose in the pellet store is 8 m. Shortening the
suction hose is possible; it may not be lengthened.
•
The filling pipes for the pellet store should be
mounted so that a clearance width of 1.5 m is
present for the filling position (= mole on ceiling) of
the mole and hose.
•
In the filling position, the mole hangs down approx-
imately 50 cm from the ceiling. Therefore, the
filling position should be in the vicinity of the filling
pipes, because the material cone is lower there
and thus more free space between it and the
ceiling is available.
•
If the mole filling position is located between two
filling pipes, then a minimum distance of 2 m must
be present between the filling pipes.
•
Neither the mole nor the suction hose may be
struck by pellets in the filling position when the
pellet store is being filled.
•
A minimum distance of 50 cm must be present
between the filling pipe and the hose suspensions
so they are not struck by pellets during filling.
•
In the filling position, the suction hose must be at
least 20 cm from the walls or beams.
•
The suspension points for the spring balancers on
the ceiling must be circular or oval in a diameter of
100 - 200 cm. This creates a hose circuit in the
middle of which the lifting module for the mole is
mounted.
•
Three spring balancers in the pellet store hold the
suction hose. The clearance/gaps between the
individual spring balancers can be seen in the
graphic
Fig. 2-2: "Clearance/gaps for fastening the
.
•
Mount the first spring balancer (closest to the
mole) approximately midway in the room on the
ceiling, so that all corners in the room can be
reached. At this point, the maximum reach of the
mole is approximately 4.5 m (3.5 m cable length in
the spring balancer and a 100 - 140 cm hose).
•
Filling the pellet store is only allowed via the filling
pipe. Replugging, i.e. blowing in the pellets at the
suction hose, is not allowed. This is because the
filling position of the mole may be located there.
For this reason, the filling pipes must be clearly
marked for the pellet supplier
Requirements for the pellet store
•
The pellet store must stay dry throughout the year.
The normal humidity encountered in normal
residential construction throughout the year is not
harmful to the pellets.
•
The shape of the storeroom is arbitrary. Narrow
and oblong spaces are just as suitable as square
or asymmetrical ones.
The pellet store must be at least 2.5 m wide and
may be no more than 8 m long due to the
maximum hose length of 8 m.
For special variations of the storeroom, it is best to
consult with ETA.
•
The storeroom floor must be resistant to abrasions
because the mole's bristles brush against the
bottom of the empty pellet store. Ledges or
protrusions in the pellet store must be clad (e.g.,
with wood). Protruding parts, such as nails, must
be removed to prevent damage to the mole or
suction hose.
•
The walls in the pellet store should be vertical or at
least have an inclination of 70°. Slants in the pellet
store must be dismantled. Wall niches must have a
minimum height and width of 1 m to allow the mole
to enter the niche.
•
A width of at least 1.5 m must be planned for the
hose path on the ceiling (suspended on the spring
balancers).
•
The access door to the pellet store must be
positioned so that the pellet store is always
accessible.
