NEST
The Nest function allows a single part program to be nested using pattern nesting, (columns and rows).
A program must be loaded before using the Nest function. Press
【
F6

to start a Nest. The Nesting
Dialog will appear, as shown below.

Enter the number of rows (number of rows one above the other) and the number of columns (number of
parts side-by-side from left-to-right). The default Row Height and Column Width are calculated based
on the size of the part, and can usually be accepted without change. Optionally, the Row-Offset may
be used for circular or other parts that fit better when every other row is offset to the right. When
finished entering these parameters, press
【
ENTER
】
to generate the nest. The result will be displayed
graphically, as shown below.
