Removing the ribbon cassette
(1) Turn the printer power off and on again; then open the
printer cover.
(2) Grasp the ribbon cassette's tab on the left side, lift the
left side out first, and then pull the cassette out of the
printer by grasping the tab on the right side.

3.1.7 Mounting the Power Switch Cover
To guard the power switch from incorrect operation, attach
the power switch cover on the printer power switch as
shown in Figure 3-15.

3.1.8 Removing the Jammed Paper
To clear a paper jam inside the printer, follow the steps
below:
(1) Turn the printer power off and on again; then open the
printer cover.
(2) Remove the ribbon cassette from the printer.
(3) Lift the print head cover while pulling the ribbon frame
lever on its right side in the

direction, to open the
cover as shown in Figure 3-16.
