LCD Screen Safety Instructions
• Use only a dry, soft cloth to clean the LCD screen. Do not use liquid or chemical cleansers. Never use
volatile chemicals such as thinner, benzene, or alcohol. Doing so could damage the surface of the
control panel.
• If the panel is particularly dirty, dampen the cloth with water containing a small amount of neutral
detergent, firmly wring the cloth dry before using it to wipe the panel, and then finish by wiping with a
soft, dry cloth.
• If the LCD screen is damaged, contact Epson. If the liquid crystal solution gets on your hands, wash
them thoroughly using large volumes of soapy water. If the liquid crystal solution gets into your eyes,
flush them with clean water for at least 15 minutes. If discomfort or vision problems remain after a
thorough flushing, see a doctor immediately. If liquid enters your mouth, see a doctor immediately.
• Do not press too hard on the LCD screen or subject it to heavy impacts.
• Use only your finger to operate the LCD screen; it may not respond when operated with wet fingers or
gloved hands.
• Do not use a pointy or sharp object, such as a pen or your fingernail, to operate the LCD screen.
• Make sure to remove the protective film from the LCD screen before operating; otherwise it may not
respond.
