The Control Panel

TEST PRINT

This menu contains the following items.

NOZZLE CHECK

You can print a print head nozzle check pattern for each ink
cartridge. From the printing results, you can check whether the
nozzles are delivering ink properly. For details, see “Checking the
print head nozzles” on page 246.

Note:

You can print a nozzle check pattern using the Utility menu in the
printer software. For Windows, see “Checking the print head nozzles”
on page 78. For Mac OS 9.x, see “Checking the print head nozzles” on
page 164. For Mac OS X, see “Checking the print head nozzles” on page
217.

STATUS CHECK

You can print the current SelecType status. For details, see
“Printing a status sheet” on page 256.

JOB INFO

You can print the job information saved in the printer (up to 10
jobs).

You can print information that you have registered.
