5.5.1 Preliminary Check

5.5.2 How to Clean
PRESSURE ROLLERS
1.
Make sure the printer is turned off and the screen has turned off, and then unplug
the power cable from the outlet.
2.
Leave the printer for a minute.
3.
Open the front cover.
4.
Raise the media loading lever.
5.
Remove stains on the pressure rollers using a dry, soft cloth. (Slide a dry cloth
between the pressure rollers and the platen and over the upper part of the pressure
rollers to wipe the area.

Wipe off stains inside the printer.
Metallic or plastic (PP/PE) tray
Place the used Cleaning swab or parts tainted with ink.
Cotton Swab
For cleaning the Ink Mark Sensor and PW Sensor.
C A U T I O N
Placing used Cleaning swab or the like directly on the printer may
result in a permanent stain.
C A U T I O N
Do not press strongly on the rollers when wiping. This may detach
the rollers.
